Compo FLORANID® Starter fertilizer is specific for nutrition when sowing the turf.

Features:

  • Lawn fertilizer ideal for sowing or regenerating turf and also for planting turf.
  • It nourishes up to 3 months, releasing nitrogen gradually according to the real needs of the turf.
  • Contains Agrosil®, the root activator to promote the growth of stronger roots.
  • NPK 16-20-8 fertilizer with high phosphorus content, ideal for sowing new lawns or for overseeding and regeneration of existing lawns.
  • Thanks to the slow release technology, nitrogen is released gradually over time, ensuring prolonged nutrition up to 3 months; the gradual release, regulated by natural growth factors such as temperature and humidity, allows a constant and balanced growth of the turf avoiding unnecessary waste.
  • COMPO FLORANID granules are specially designed for the fertilization of the turf. They are in fact spherical in shape, fine and regular in order to be able to better penetrate the leaves of the lawn. Each granule contains all the main nutrients that are easily made available for uniform lawn growth.

Use:

  • Loosen the soil by removing the largest stones, weeds and level it.
  • To improve the structure of the soil it is recommended to mix it with COMPO SANA Soil for Turf.
  • Distribute COMPO Floranid Starter just before sowing to a depth of 2-3 cm.
  • Spread the lawn seeds evenly and cover them with a thin 1-2 cm layer of soil.
  • To favor germination and root development, lightly roll the soil.
  • Wet regularly until the lawn is formed (be careful not to wash off the seed).

The first cut is important. Do it when the lawn has reached a height of 8-10 cm. Initially mow the grass up to a height of 6 cm. The grass must then be mowed to a height of 4 cm. After 10-12 weeks the lawn needs new energy. For optimal fertilization, use slow release fertilizer COMPO Floranid Prato.

Period of use: March-October.
