Vitamin C is essential for the health of guinea pigs: the first signs of a vitamin C deficiency can be severe fatigue, difficulty moving, decreased appetite, followed by more severe symptoms if it lasts. A healthy guinea pig requires 20 mg / kg per day. The requirement triples during illness, convalescence, pregnancy and breastfeeding (60 mg / kg).
Composition : purified water, sodium bicarbonate, monopotassium phosphate. Additives (/ kg): vitamins: vitamin C 30000 mg, flavor: benzoic acid, preservatives: sorbic acid - D, L-malic acid.
